Our Story
odette child is a musical and creative team by married couple Isabel and Alex Mattox.
Alex is an arranger, composer, educator, and multi-instrumentalist. He previously arranged for and served as president of SoCal Vocals, a decorated vocal group that has produced multiple Grammy-winning artists. Additionally, he has worked as a freelance singer/songwriter in Nashville. He holds a minor in songwriting, a master’s degree in professional writing, and a graduate certificate in entertainment business from the University of Southern California.
As the musical duo odette child, they are releasing their debut single and music video with an EP to follow.
Isabel is a vocalist, vocal coach, and songwriter with extensive experience. Her notable work includes contributions to A&E productions and collaborations with artists featured in Hulu series. Isabel offers a background in vocal health and science from the Voice Study Center and music marketing from Berklee School of Music, reflecting her commitment to excellence in vocal education. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in performing arts and social justice from the University of San Francisco.
